Soon I will be adding info on Marilyn Manson, NIN, Stabbing Westward, Silverchair, Korn, and more Marilyn Manson, notorious Florida shock rocker.
There's a lot that can be said about Marilyn Manson,
here's some basic info. His real name is Brian Warner,
he's originally from Canton, Ohio, but moved to Fort
Lauderdale, FL when he was 17. He created the band when
he met Scott Putesky at a party, they discussed combining
serial killers, beauty icons, and childrens cartoons and forming
a band. They named thier band Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids (which
was later changed to just Marilyn Manson). Brian took on the name
Marilyn Manson (Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson) and sang, and Scott
took on the name Daisy Berkowitz (Daisy Duke and David Berkowitz) and played guitar/
They used Scott's drum machine as drums. Scott and Brian indepently released several demo tapes,
including Meat Beat Cleaver Beat in 1989. Later they got a live band to tour with, and
several years later they would be signed to Trent Reznor's label, Nothing, and released thier first
album, Portrait of an American Family. They would later release albums such as Smells Like Children,
and chart topping Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals. The band
has been through many changes and rough times, but have succeeded in becoming some of
the most well known and feared faces in rock history.

Silverchair is a 3-peice metal/punk band formed
in 1992 by vocalist and guitarist Daniel Johns,
bassist Chris Joannou, and drummer Ben Gillies
in a small town in Austrailia. They released
thier first album, Frogstomp in 1995 when they
were only 14 or 15, thier second, Freakshow, in 1997
when they were 17, and they released thier long awaited third and most recent album
Neon Ballroom, in 1999. They are the first band from Austrailia to have a Nort American
top 10 album.

Silverchair
KoRn KoRn, possibly the most popular rock band of the
lare 90's.

Korn was formed when the vocalist of a band
called SexArt, Jonathan Davis, met up with several
members of another band called LAPD which featured
James Shaffer and Brian Welch (now the co-guitarists of KoRn),
Reginald Arvizu (now the bassist of Korn), and David Silveria (now the drummer of Korn)
The band is mainly from Bakersfeild, CA, and most of they're songs
deal with childhood nightmares and how fucked up it was living in Bakersfeild.
After the self-titled debut album was realeased, it was a huge hit, and Korn was on they're
first arena tour. They're second album was "Life Is Peachy" and they're third is titled Follow the Leader.
They recently formed they're own record lable entitled "Elementree Records", in which the band "Orgy" is signed to.
In fall '98 they went on a huge arena tour featuring bands such as Limp Bizkit, Orgy, Ice Cube, and Rammstein, which was
called "Family Values". They also went on tour with Rob Zombie in early 99. The tour was titled "Rock is Dead", the same name of the tour Marilyn Manson, Hole, and Monster Magnet were on at the time.
Marilyn Manson then changed the name of his tour to "The Beautifal Monsters"
